I was asked to design and mock up a new, more modern website for the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants. The main new features requested for this website were an interactive region map and a customized members portal.

The Region Map displays the different regions of Virginia, along with the current representative for that region, their contact information, and the current number of VAPA members in that region. This feature was intended to make it easier for PAs interested in joining the association to be able to contact their regional representative as well as see more which region they were located in.

The Members Portal was intended to be a convenient method for all current members to be able to see all the information they rely on the association to pass on to them in one easy spot. A spot for banners and ads allowed the association to upload items relevant to members to grab their attention. Additionally, based upon the region they were registered under, the two widgets below would display local & statewide events that were relevant to them, as well as jobs in their area.
